2023 Nissan ARIYA

Last year, Nissan presented the 2023 Nissan ARIYA. It is the Japanese brand's first all-electric crossover and is an important part of its NEXT transformation plan. The Ariya opens a new chapter in Nissan's rich history and embodies Nissan's vision to enrich the lives of drivers.

The new electric Nissan ARIYA is an SUV-style crossover with a range of up to 500 kilometres. A highlight: in 30 minutes on the fast charger you can add up to 300 kilometres of range.

Nissan Ariya Powertrain

The Engage is an entry-level model in the Ariya range. Electric motors on the front wheels generate 214 horsepower at 300 nm, and the battery holds 63 kWh. The range is approximately 346 kilometres. Onboard the Ariya, a heating system comes standard. An electric charger can charge at a maximum speed of 130 kW, making it ideal for fast charging. A wall box or charging station can provide 7.4 kW of power to charge the Nissan electric vehicle.

Nissan Ariya Design

From the outside, the basic 2023 Nissan ARIYA can be identified by its 18-inch wheels and aerodynamic hoods, as well as its "closed roof." The Ariya has a standard panoramic glass roof starting with the Evolve. At night, the Ariya shines with LED lights front and rear, but you can also opt for the more expensive models for sequential turn signals and adaptive headlights.

Nissan Ariya Trims

For higher trims, Nissan offers the Evolve, Venture+, Evolve+, Platinium+ and a special launch model called the Nissan Ariya Premiere. The Evolve+ has 238 horsepower as standard, a very slight increase from the Engage. This model can travel much further than the Engage model with 458km on a single charge. Moreover, the Evolve comes with an AWD system as standard. Thanks to the additional electric motor on the rear axle, the Ariya has 335 hp with 600 Nm of torque, but with a range of 330 kilometres. There is also an all-wheel-drive PLATINUM+ e-4ORCE on top of the Ariya trims. It produces 389 horsepower and is standard equipped with AWD.

Nissan Ariya Standard Equipment

The Nissan Ariya also has a power tailgate as standard, parking sensors, an "Intelligent Key" (Keyless Entry) and an "Intelligent Around View Monitor", which lets you see what's going on around the car when needed. Also standard is a heated windshield, useful for defrosting and defogging the car during cold times. Charges with up to 22 kW are possible on both the Engage and the Platimium+ e-4ORCE. There is no difference between the DC and AC charging rates.

Nissan always provides heated front seats and a heated steering wheel with its Ariya. They are upholstered in black fabric and artificial leather seats 6-way electrically adjustable. Dashboards on Ariyas consist of two big screens (12.3-inch), with the center screen being a touchscreen.

Nissan Ariya Safety

The 2023 Nissan ARIYA is pretty well equipped when it comes to safety systems. The Ariya comes standard with an active emergency braking assist, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot assist, among other features. However, it also comes with ProPilot with Navi-Link, which enables semi-autonomous driving with the help of the map system.
