Interior and Exterior Features
The Maxima’s exterior design is pleasing to the eye, with a moonroof in every model. The sedan sports a gloss black grille with 18-inch alloy wheels. Available in five distinctive colours, you have a choice between Pearl White TriCoat, Scarlet Ember Tintcoat, and Deep Blue Pearl, to name just three.
You’ll enjoy plenty of room for up to five occupants inside the stylish cabin. Passengers in the rear get 34.2 inches of legroom and 35.8 inches of headroom. You’ll also be able to drive comfortably with the added zero-gravity seats (designed to reduce fatigue) and available 45 inches of legroom in the front. Optional premium Ascot diamond-quilted leather seats are available in the SR and Platinum.
Engine and Performance
The 3.5-litre DOHC 24-valve V6 engine performs exceptionally well with an output capacity of up to 300 hp and 261 lb-ft of torque. Depending on your driving preferences, the drive mode selector can be set to normal or sport. Sport mode available on all trims will sharpen the vehicle’s throttle response and transmission tuning, including the steering feel. The SR has added paddle shifters and a sport-tuned suspension for an even more exhilarating ride.
Technology and Safety Features
All trims have a BOSE 11-speaker sound system connected to a NissanConnect touchscreen display. You also get Siri Eyes Free which enables voice control and Bluetooth when connecting your iPhone.
